The Wiki is a privilege, not a right, that RoD offers its players. We ask that you use it responsibly, and with maturity. Misuse of the tool gets the tool taken away. With that said, here's what you need to know!

How do I make a Wiki for my character?
1) WAIT UNTIL YOUR CHARACTER IS SANCTIONED.
2) Go to the main RoD page. Log in if you haven't.
3) Click on "Update Character" on the righthand bar.
4) Under Description, there is a box for a URL. To the far right of this, it says [Create your wiki page] - click.
5) This will bring up a template for your character. It explains what to put where.
6) If adding a photo, change the name of the file on the wiki before uploading it - do NOT leave it as Your_Character_Name.jpg.
7) To link to another wiki page, type the name of the page and put [[ ]] around it.
8) Hitting "Show Preview" atthe bottom will how you what your page will look like once published, if you're not sure what you're doing.
9) If you have any questions - Ask! Folks in the OOC can help, or feel free to ask ChaoticCore (CC) or LastGirlOnEarth (Lego) for help.
What can I upload?
1) For the sanity of others, we ask that nothing with sound or flashing lights gets uploaded.
2) Before uploading artwork, you need to make sure the artist offers permission.
3) Copyrighted material that is not released under the CCL should not be uploaded.
How do I get permission from an artist?
There's a few ways to do this. First, look on their website to see if they have use of art rules. Some ask that you link back to their site, some ask that you give credit, some ask that you don't use it at all. Obviously, if the last is asked, you can't use it. If they don't specify, see if they have Creative Commons info on their page. If all else fails - Ask the artist! But always, always give credit.
What's with the comments?
There are two ways people use the comments/quotes sections on pages. They either A) post what their character thinks of the character in question, or B) use it for things that were actually said IC. Either is valid, and feel free to put what you like. We do ask that you maintain a bit of maturity when doing it, though.
